Information: Updated 22nd December 2023

We are taking reasonable precautions to help contain the spread of the COVID-19 virus and comply with the recommendations of the Australian and ACT Governments (please be aware that this information maybe updated regularly and the information on this page may not reflect the up-to-date recommendations. For up-to-date guidelines in the ACT click here). For this reason we are currently offering three options for psychology sessions (Please let us know your preferred appointment arrangement when booking):

1.Face-to-face sessions in the clinic

Please note the following additional hygiene protocol if you do attend the clinic:

  • Please wash your hands prior to meeting (we have a sink in the gym for you to wash your hands like this);

  • Please maintain 1.5 metre distance from your practitioner; and

  • Please do not attend your session in person if you are unwell or are a close contact

2. Online sessions via Video Conference or Phone - Clients with Mental Health Care/Treatment Plans (issued by your GP).

Based on the latest changes to Medicare rebates announced by the Australian Government on 20th April 2021, if you have a Mental Health Care/Treatment Plan (issued by your GP):

  • Online sessions with Guy & Charlie are eligible for Medicare Rebates and will be priced at the standard fee.

Online sessions are conducted over video conferencing software or over the phone.

3. Online sessions via Video Conference or Phone - Private Clients, Third Party Payers, or Private Insurance.

  • Online sessions with Guy & Charlie are available at the standard rate.

For clients with Private Insurance, please check with your insurer as to whether telehealth psychology services are covered in your policy.

Please note that the practice’s late cancellation fee will continue to apply for cancellations made within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment.

Please contact us if you have any further questions about our services at this time. We will update this advice if there are any further changes to our services.
