Hi, I'm Jon, a psychologist who is passionate about working with people who are striving for change. This could be working through difficulties life has thrown at you, challenges you want to overcome, or opportunities for growth you've identified. I'm particularly interested in helping people overcome anxiety and stress, and assisting people in developing calm and balanced lives.

psychological difficulties such as stress, low mood, anxiety;
life challenges such as relationship breakdown and work difficulties.
I have had a range of experiences counselling and practicing psychology across various areas. I've worked in the public mental health system, with Defence, in prison environments, addiction rehabilitation, youth work and inpatient mental health services. I am experienced in CBT, mindfulness-based approaches, solution-focused brief therapy, and motivational interviewing.
Outside of my work as a psychologist, I strive to help myself and others achieve high performance. I have fought professionally in Mixed Martial Arts, represented Australia in freestyle wrestling, and coached dozens of athletes in combat sports. Overcoming adversity and finding calm under pressure are where these worlds overlap.
I bring a relaxed and friendly vibe to psychology sessions; my aim is to make you feel comfortable and understood.
